The 2024 tour season is well underway with a very successful Shakedown tour led by our Vice President
Joe Amara and his wife Maryann. We enjoyed a winding tour to Borderland Park in Easton where we
had a picnic lunch. The weather was great for the dozen cars that participated and after lunch we took
another ride to Flint Farms for ice cream.

May 5th will be the annual sticker day organized by Ben Johnson (information is in the upcoming events
section). May 28th, we have been invited to Old Rochester Vocational High School to take part in a school
project concerning the Great Gatsby era. I will be sending a flyer out for this in a separate email.
Culinary will be preparing snacks for the event. This event will start at 12 and go until about 2:30. This
event has been planned by John Garcia and Matt McGraw. Getting involved with youth programs is a
very important part of keeping our hobby alive for years to come.

I want to thank Pat Zwicker for all her help for making our Awards brunch a great success. Her
guidance and willingness to keep the guest list and collect the monies due the club was a big help. She also
made all the table signs and provided the center pieces.
