President Charles Marchewka’s Outgoing Message for MARCOM.
The 2017 year for MARCOM is now over. Our tours, meetings, programs and events are finished and many of us are putting our “A’s” away for the winter. I have been lucky enough to have been MARCOM’s President for a few years and I have enjoyed every minute of it. A Club stands out above others because the members care about the Club and are willing to spend their time and efforts to make that club successful.
MARCOM has celebrated its 60th birthday, organized day tours all over South Eastern Massachusetts, joined with clubs from all over New England in the Model A Ford Regional Meets, spent time with one another on two fabulous Long Grand Tours to Martha’s Vineyard and Stockbridge, and meet once a month to share our ideas and passion about having a Model “A”. This only happens when Club members join together to make the Club a success.
My thanks go out to all MARCOM members. Let us continue our tradition of being a wonderful club to be part of.
