PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Our last meeting was very enjoyable with the program of beekeeping presented by Dolores and Chuck Marchewka. The presentation by Chuck was extremely informative and interesting. The honey tasting presented by Dolores was great! I again must thank Suzann Jackson for the donation of her wonderful quilted items for the raffle. As we all know, this generous donation certainly helps fund our club!
Pat and I are really sorry that we had to miss the Hops and Handbags Tour by Bill and Kerrie Brum. I have heard that it was a great tour and was well attended. The next tour is the Hanson Fly-In held on June 16th. Chuck Marchewka will run a tour from the Fly-In to the Powder Point Bridge. On July 4th, the parades at Squantum and Hingham will be held. These are paid events! For further details in tours or parades, please see the information on the website, newsletter or contact the Tour Chairperson, Mike Kelly. Anyone who desires to run a tour, or has an idea for a tour, kindly contact Mike.
The program for the July meeting will be make your own sundae immediately after the general meeting. Members will have plenty of time to chat while eating their sundaes. It was voted at the June meeting that all future meetings will have the start time of 7:30 PM.
We have programs slated for the remaining of the year, but any members who would like to present a program or have ideas for a program at a future meeting, kindly contact me, or any Board member. For any updates regarding the club’s functions, please go to the website and view the calendar.
