I want to thank everyone that brought in great items and the bidders that stepped up to the plate, making this auction one of the most successful! We took in a whopping $1,084.00! I want to thank those who helped during the auction- Jane and Bruce Ketchen, Karen Newcomb, Chuck Marchewka, Steve Pyne and my wife, Pat! I also need to thank Pat Dias for the use of her book and auction numbers to keep track of the bids. Al Davidow donated the remaining Model A Ford drip pans and water pump wrenches and front axle washers, and once again, Sue Jackson donated her beautiful quilted pieces. All of this made for a great auction!
Our last tour of the season was very well attended, with 35 people in our group at Wright’s Chicken Farm Restaurant. The weather for the day was wonderful! The first Sunday of November brings out antique vehicles from many different locations for the Annual Chicken Run. There was even a Model T Ford group from Long Island, NY that trailered up to Framingham, MA. to tour down to Wright’s with the Central Massachusetts Model T Club.
Please remember to vote for the officers and Board. All ballots must be received by the Secretary at least three days prior to the December meeting in order to be counted.
Next month will be our annual pot luck dinner. The meeting will start at 7:00 PM. Kindly contact Dolores Marchewka, #781-585-8908, or cmarchewka@gmail.com to indicate what you will be bringing to the dinner.
Members, please let us know if you would like to present a program or have ideas for a program at a future meeting. We will need programs for next year!
